Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview of Commercial Services

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made on the Lithium Battery Directory website (https://www.lithiumbatterydirectory.com), operated by BATTERY CONNECT INDIA. Our commercial services include:

1. Digital Subscription Passes: Online access to verified supplier databases, direct procurement contacts, chemistry search filters, and location directories.
2. Physical Compendium Book: The printed hardbound edition of the Lithium Battery Directory 2027 desk reference compendium.

2. Digital Subscriptions: No-Refund Rule

In accordance with the Indian Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules and international digital commerce standards:

• Immediate Execution: Upon successful payment capture via Razorpay, our platform automatically elevates your account permissions and unmasks verified phone and email data.
• No Right to Return Digital Data: Because digital data cannot physically be returned once accessed, no refund requests will be entertained under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
  • Change of mind or accidental subscription purchase;
  • Failure to find a specific commercial partner or supplier;
  • Inability of the user to close a commercial deal with a listed vendor;
  • Unused portion of an active monthly or annual access tenure.

3. Subscription Cancellation & Auto-Renewal Terms

While past subscription payments are non-refundable, you maintain complete autonomy over your renewal cycles:

• How to Cancel: You can cancel your subscription auto-renewal at any time by navigating to your Member Profile > Billing & Subscriptions, or by emailing our billing desk at lithiumbatterydirectory27@gmail.com at least 48 hours before your scheduled renewal date.
• Effect of Cancellation: Cancellation ensures that your credit card or payment method will not be charged on the next billing date. You will continue to retain full access to unlocked features until the expiration of your currently paid term.

4. Physical Directory Compendium Book Orders

For customers who purchase the hardbound physical desk compendium book:

• Pre-Dispatch Cancellation: You may cancel a physical book order within 12 hours of placing it, provided the parcel has not been handed over to the courier partner. A full refund will be processed to the original payment source.
• Post-Dispatch: Once a tracking consignment number has been issued and dispatched, book orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.
• Transit Damage or Defective Copies: In the rare event that your book arrives in a severely damaged condition or with missing pages:
  1. Notify our team within 48 hours of delivery at lithiumbatterydirectory27@gmail.com with clear photos/video of the packaging and damage.
  2. Upon verification, a brand new replacement copy will be dispatched immediately at zero additional shipping cost. We do not issue cash refunds for damaged books; replacement is the standard remedy.

5. Technical Gateway Exceptions (Double Debits)

In the event of an unintended technical error during checkout (e.g., payment gateway timeout where your bank account was debited twice for the same subscription, or debited without account activation):

• Please notify us at lithiumbatterydirectory27@gmail.com with the Razorpay Payment ID and date of transaction.
• Our billing reconciliation team will verify the gateway log within 24 business hours.
• Verified duplicate charges will be refunded automatically to your original payment method via Razorpay within 5 to 7 business working days, subject to your issuing bank's clearing cycle.
