The Government of India has unveiled new allocations under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for Advanced Chemistry Cell (ACC) Battery Storage, emphasizing domestic value addition and indigenous component sourcing.
The initiative aims to establish 50 GWh of cumulative domestic manufacturing capacity, significantly decreasing reliance on imported cell components over the next three years.
